IAVE World Volunteer Conference Concludes
Chain Reaction Foundation was delighted to partner in the development and delivery of the 23rd International Association for Volunteer Effort World Volunteer Conference on the Gold Coast.
Youth World Conference: 15 – 17 September
WORLD CONFERENCE 17 – 20 SEPTEMBER
Over 1,000 participants attended the Conference from over 70 countries.
Conference theme:
"VOLUNTEERING TODAY'S IMPERATIVE"
Conference theme became a clear reality with delegates choosing from 160 presentations from all over the world.
Australian keynote speakers: Hon. Michael Kirby, Jody Broun and newly elected IAVE World President Kylee Bates were a huge success.
Kylee is only the second Australian in 44 years to be elected World President. Margaret Bell President Chain Reaction Foundation held that office from 1988 to 1996.
Margaret received much appreciation for the role she played in developing and conducting the 23rd IAVE Conference and was the first person to be made a life member of The International Association for Volunteer Effort.
